The Very Hungry Caterpillar will celebrate Summer Reading at the Public Libraries of Lancaster County!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar costume character found in Eric Carle’s books will visit local Public Libraries to celebrate summer reading!  Listen to related stories and enjoy fun activities —be sure to bring your camera for a picture with The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

The story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a children’s literature classic.  The story follows a hungry caterpillar as it grows from egg to cocoon to beautiful butterfly, but also teaches the days of the week, counting, good nutrition and more. Striking pictures and cleverly die-cut pages offer interactive fun.
