Lancaster County Speakers Bureau presents donation to Public Libraries of Lancaster County

The Lancaster County Speakers Bureau made a generous donation of $2,500 to the Public Libraries of Lancaster County.  Dennis E. Mohler, President; J. Calvin Wenger and Dale G. Williams represented the Speakers Bureau as they presented the check at the Library Directors’ Council November meeting.  The funds will benefit the public libraries of Lancaster County.  “We are grateful for the contribution of the Lancaster County Speakers Bureau to the public libraries of Lancaster County and the cultural wealth of our community.”,  stated Deb Drury, Director of the Elizabethtown Public Library, who spoke on behalf of the Library Directors.

Speakers Bureau
The Lancaster County Speakers Bureau is operated as a service to the local community by making talented speakers available to civic business, social, church, educational and other community organizations, thereby serving residents of Lancaster County.  Their speakers present a variety of interesting and informative programs.  The Speakers Bureau accepts honorariums for speaking.  A portion of the monies are donated.

About the Library System of Lancaster County
The Library System of Lancaster County is a federated system with 14 member libraries, three branches and a bookmobile, which serves 519,462 residents.
