The 2026 Summer Reading Program begins June 6th and ends August 15th! Sign up at your local library or on Beanstack.
How it Works:
- Sign up on Beanstack by clicking this link or visit your local library to pick up a paper form! Depending on your child’s age, they will be included in one of the following reading groups: Read Aloud (ages birth-4), Junior (ages 5-9), Tween (ages 10-12), and Teen (ages 13-19). Reading goals, activities, and prizes are tailored to each age group. Each child may participate in the Summer Reading Program one time per summer (either paper or online).
- Read! Whether reading together, independently, or listening to e-books, have your child complete the reading goal for their age group. If using paper forms, fill in the boxes until you reach the end. If using Beanstack, log reading to obtain all reading badges. Don’t forget to complete at least 5 of the activities, too!
- Once the reading goal has been met and 5 activities completed, fill out the back of the paper form and take it back to your local library. If using Beanstack, let your library know and they’ll verify you completed the program! Your local library will give your child their prizes! All prizes must be redeemed at the same time. All prize coupons, passes, vouchers, and tickets are non-transferable, not for sale, and may not be photocopied. Reading prizes may be subject to change or while supplies last.
