The Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy invites you to enjoy A Peak Experience!

The Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy, PA invites you to enjoy A Peak Experience on Wednesday, July 1 at 6:00 p.m. This program will be led by Jack Frank, an avid extreme hiker, who will share his adventurous hikes through a DVD showing breathtaking scenery set to a moving soundtrack.

A Peak Experience captures “human peak experience”, the concept used as a way to explain the motivation and life lessons involved in wilderness travel. The beauty and grandeur of the Canadian Rockies, the Adirondacks, the Grand Teton, Mt. Olympus, and Mt. St. Helens will be viewed from perspectives that many will never experience in a lifetime.

Jack will also convey to attendees the dangers involved, the fun and humor, and the unique camaraderie which results from the intense personal interaction required to do extreme climbs.
Please call to register for this program; a small fee will be collected to cover presenter costs.
