Animal Education program

Title of Program:  Animal Education program

Description: This will be a hands-on, educational program featuring a variety of snakes, geckos, a bearded dragon, tortoises, turtles, insects, a rabbit and a guinea pig. There will be 20 animals. All the animals are safe to touch and hold. After explaining a few facts about each animal, the animals will be taken around for the children to touch. With the help of a few adult volunteers, the children will have the opportunity to touch all of the animals.

Presenter Bio: My program started over 17 years ago when I began sharing the animals I had in my classroom with children at their birthday parties. Since then, I have taken my animals to hundreds of birthday celebrations, schools Boy and Girl Scout meetings, child care centers, summer camps, church festivals, fairs, elementary fun nights, senior groups and other events.
