The Milanof–Schock Library, located at 1184 Anderson Ferry Road in Mount Joy, will hold its annual Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, March 5 at 9:30 a.m. This year’s special guest reader of Dr. Suess’s Green Eggs and Ham will be Officer Ney, the Resource Officer with Donegal’s Junior High and High Schools. The Cat-in-the-Hat will mingle with guests, read a story and will be on-hand for fun photo opportunities.
Green eggs and ham will be served for breakfast, or regular eggs and ham for finicky eaters. An assortment of beverages and sweet sides will also be provided. Tickets for the event are on sale at the Library’s Circulation Desk: $4 for kids ages 2-12 and $7 for anyone 13 and older. This event is co-sponsored by the Norlanco-Rheems Kiwanis with additional service provided by the Donegal High School Key Club.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Milanof-Schock Library.
