Lunar Lunacy
Using a short PowerPoint presentation, teen and tween library patrons will explore lunar phases and discover associations ancient cultures made between full moon and the natural world. The root of both “lunacy” and “lunatic” is the Roman goddess, Luna. Along this theme, participants will be presented with a series of myths or truths about the full moon and decide whether they are true. The program will conclude as participants each create and share a myth about the full moon in the month of their birth.
