Title of Program: Colorful Magic at the Library

Description: A magic show like no other! With magic tricks and off the wall comedy themed around this year’s Summer Reading Theme, “Color Our World,” children will enjoy participating in the show, while reinforcing all the great things the library has to offer. 

Presenter Bio: Mike Rose makes his living performing comedy magic and logs over 200 shows per year. However, he is also a magic historian and author. His first book, “Joe Karson – Beyond Zombie” set him on the road to writing about magic’s past. His most recent book, “Maryland’s Ambassador of Magic: Phil Thomas and the Yogi Magic Mart” sparked Mike’s interest specifically in Baltimore magic history. Today Mike’s magic research and writings focus primarily on digging deeper into the magic and magicians of Baltimore’s bygone days.
