The Summer Reading Program

Make a splash at your local Lancaster County Public Library this summer! Summer Reading 2022 starts on Saturday, June 4th and runs until Saturday, August 13th. Register at your local public library or online any time after June 4th and join us all summer long for special presenters and programs to celebrate this year’s theme, “Oceans of Possibilities.”

This year’s participants will include these reading levels:

  • Read Aloud (birth-4 years)
  • Elementary (ages 5-9)
  • Tween (ages 10-12)
  • Teen level (ages 13-19)

The countywide Public Library Summer Reading Program is open to children and teens of all ages.
