Lancaster County public libraries will welcome “Corduroy”, costume character from the popular picture book series by Dan Freeman.
Corduroy was first introduced to readers in 1968, and in the fifty years since, his adventures have never stopped. Families are encouraged to attend one of Corduroy’s visits at the public libraries! Celebrate 50 years of this irresistible childhood classic, a heartwarming story about a little bear and a little girl finding the friend they have always wanted in each other!
The Corduroy series includes A Pocket for Corduroy (c1978), Corduroy Lost and Found (2006), and A Christmas Wish For Corduroy (2014)
Listen to classic Corduroy stories, enjoy fun activities and be sure to bring you camera for a picture with Corduroy himself!
