Caden McMahan, Summer Intern at the Manheim Community Library, interviews Manheim residents in his Oral History Moon Landing Project!
Apollo 11 Oral History Project
July 20, 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. To commemorate the historic event, Manheim Community Library has created an oral history project under the direction of Digital Creation Intern Caden McMahan. The community is invited to share their memories of this historic event. Brief personal interviews will be conducted on July 6th, 8th, and 9th between 2 and 5 PM at the Library. Recorded memories will be compiled into a presentation, featured in social media, as well as archived. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins will be welcome as space allows. The Library welcomed interest from outside organizations for possible collaborations for this memory project.
Congratulations to Caden McMahan for a job well done!
