Adamstown Area Library officials are pleased to announce a special “Before the Renovation” Kick-Off Party that will be held at the VFW Building on 110 East Main Street, Adamstown on Friday, April 29th from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. The event, which is free and open to the public, will celebrate acquiring the VFW Building and its 7,500 square feet space as the future library facility. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the new space before the renovation begins and find out more about how the community can contribute to make this exciting announcement a reality. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this project from the beginning!
In addition, and with our gratitude, the Friends of the Adamstown Area Library will be presenting the library with a check for $100,000 at 4:30 PM as their donation to support the costs needed to begin renovation.
Hamburgers, hot dogs and delicious treats will be served compliments of Heck Construction. Lee Olsen (CEO) of Olsen Design Group Architects and his team will be on hand to answer any construction/project/design related questions.
The building is located at 110 West Main Street in Adamstown (next to the Post Office).
