An Event Celebrating the Arts and Literature
The Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy will open for public appreciation the Reading and Writing with Anne Frank traveling exhibit on Monday, February 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Be among the first to visit this exhibit that takes a look at Anne Frank’s short stories and other writings as well as what books she read while in the Secret Annex. The display reminds viewers of this teenager’s indomitable spirit even during the worst of times.
As part of the celebration, the Library is excited to host cast members of the Susquehanna Stage Co. of Marietta who will perform a couple scenes from their upcoming production of The Diary of Anne Frank running February 17-19 and 23-26.
The traveling exhibit comes to the Library from the Anne Frank Center of Mutual Respect. The exhibit is sponsored by Lanco Federal Credit Union, Members 1st Federal Credit Union, The Rotary Club of Mount Joy, and Kiwanis Club of NORLANCO-RHEEMS.
Please visit the Library’s website www.mslibrary.org for information about this event or call 653-1510.
