Join the Manheim Township Public Library for their 2nd Annual Buy the Book Fundraiser!
Manheim Township Public Library is hosting the Buy the Book fundraiser for the second year in a row. This year’s Buy the Book event will take place on Friday, October 4th from 6-8pm. The theme is “A great book can take you around the world.”
During the event, patrons will be able to travel around the world as the Library provides hors d’oeuvres, drinks, music, and, of course, great books! Those who attend the fundraiser will have the opportunity to purchase preselected books that the Library will add to the Children’s, Young Adult, and Adult collections. A book plate will be placed inside each purchased book. The book plate can include the name of the purchaser or can be in memory of someone dear to the purchaser.
Manheim Township Public Library is committed to this fundraiser because it aligns perfectly with the Library’s mission and values.
Executive Director, Joyce Sands had this to say about the Buy the Book fundraiser, “Last year’s Buy the Book fundraiser was such a hit! We heard such great feedback from everyone involved that we decided to host it again. We can’t wait to see how the Buy the Book does this year!”
If you are unable to attend the event, but you would still like to support the Library, checks are welcome. Please make checks payable to The Manheim Township Public Library Foundation. You can also visit the Library the week following the event and browse the books that are still available for purchase.
