Living History Civil War Program

Retired US Marine Gunnery Sgt. Kenneth J. Serfass will perform a living history Civil War program as a General Ulysses S. Grant impressionist on Wednesday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. at the Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy!

Serfass has been appearing as the general since 2009, and shares “…portraying US Grant and telling his story is very inspirational for generating more of an interest in our history.” He will present this program in character and will speak from Grant’s perspective, discussing several highlights of Grant’s career, including his close relationship with Abraham Lincoln.

This program will be free to the public thanks to a donation made by Buch Funeral Homes.  Seating will be limited, so make sure to call the Library at 653-1510 or stop by the library at 1184 Anderson Ferry Road to pre-register.
